Scotland 2017 – day 2

Due to not so good weather in Glasgow I started a trip to Blackford where you can find Tullibardine Distillery. We have had lots of Tullibardine in our Tastings at Whisky Krüger and I never was there before. Also I wanted to take a picture of secale at Tullibardine.

From Tullibardine it isn’t far to Perth and near Perth you can find a small village called Newburgh. This is the place where it all started. In 1494 Friar John Cor produced aqua vitae for King James IV.
Now distilling is coming back home. The Lindores Abbey Distillery is going to start production this year.
