From 3rd to 4th October I attended Uk’s biggest Whisky Event, The Whisky Exchange Whisky Show 2015.
For me it was the first time to attend this great event.
Accompanied by my two daughters, who took chance to go on a shopping trip to London, I spent a weekend in UK’s stunning capital.
Arriving at the venue, Old Billingsgate London, I found myself in the middle of an endless queue of Whisky fans from all over the world. Fortunately the check-in went exemplary.
A high compliment to Sukhinder Singh and his team!
Standing and waiting in the queue I was a little bit afraid that inside it would be very crowdy. Luckily this wasn’t the case. At all stands it took just a very short time to get the attention of the staff.
My main reason for partiticpating in this great event was not the huge number of Dream Drams offered during the show. Of course I had some really nice drams but I wasn’t interested in 75 year old Mortlach or new Karuizawa bottlings.
For me the goodies was meeting the people. Old friends as well as new ones.
